Worn, but also encouraged...

Tenth Avenue north sings...

I'm tired
I'm worn
My heart is heavy
From the work it takes to keep on breathing
I've made mistakes
I've let my hope fail
My soul feels crushed
By the weight of this world
And I know that you can give me rest
So I cry out with all that I have left
And this is my theme song. Worn. And with tired hands I open the Word of God. Psalm 18. Alfred’s go to. And I read with tired eyes, and a heavy heart. Stumbling unto verse 6 something happens...
“In my distress I called to the Lord; I cried to God for help. From His temple He heard my voice; my cry came before Him, into His ears.”
Into His ears.
And in that moment I feel Relief. I feel that my cries are Heard. God knows. I breathe again.
