Nothing left to muster

As i stumbled to bed at midnight i lay there thinking - Not a good idea at 0:00 - but think i did. I realized that i was not the picture of faith at this moment. I was a rather a picture of a weak, complaining, pitying and whining woman. So i decided at 0:05 (i did not ponder too long as the night ahead was already short enough) that tomorrow i would pull up my socks, get my act together and show the people around me what that woman of faith that i was supposed to be, looked like. I decided to muster all reserves and resolves and... oh, wait, 0:06 .. i have no reserves or resolves left. I have nothing in me of mustering ability. Great.

But, 0:07, i realized that at this Rock Bottom - a new low even for me, i have Jesus. And my song in the night - in E minor nonetheless - will be a cry, or rather more like a piercing scream for help.

And as i have nothing, i leave you with this song in E minor by "I am they - Amen" For when words fail, music speaks...

Key:  Em

I have no words to say
Don’t know what I should pray
God, I need You, God, I need You
Oh Lord, my faith is tired
And tears fill up my eyes
But I will trust You, I will trust You

 Whatever comes my way
You have taught me to say

 Amen, let Your kingdom come
Amen, let Your will be done
And through the rise and fall
 You’re God above it all
 Amen, we’re singing Amen

 When I can barely stand
 You strengthen me again
I will seek You, I will seek You
 Though troubles may arise
My hands reach to the skies
I will praise You, I will praise You

 Whatever comes my way
You have taught me to say

 Amen, let Your kingdom come
Amen, let Your will be done
And through the rise and fall
 You’re God above it all

 Amen, we’re singing
 We’re singing Amen

 From everlasting to everlasting
 From everlasting to everlasting
 From everlasting to everlasting
 From everlasting to everlasting

 Amen

 Amen, let Your kingdom come
Amen, let Your will be done
And through the rise and fall
 You’re God above it all
 Amen, we’re singing Amen
 We’re singing Amen
