Where do you go?

Attending five too many funerals....and on our way to town we heard of another child that has passed away.....
Seeing a small children suffer because they are not getting in enough food, slowly starving.....
Helplessly sitting beside the sick......
Where do you go?

Where do you go when live gets too much?  Where do you go when you can't face another day?  When what breaks God heart breaks yours.  Where do you go?  More personally - where do I go?

Do I watch a dvd?  Try and distract myself with a hobby?  Listen to some music, call a friend?  All of the above?  All good things and yes, we can take a break, we may take a break.  But, firstly I need to make sure that i take time alone with God, take time to really, really POUR out my heart to Him!  Even Jesus needed time off - even though the crowds sniffed Him out!  He went up into the hills to pray, to talk to His Father.  I better have my priorities straight - if Jesus needed this than so much more do I!

Thank you Father, that you are always, always there for me - that You care so, so much!  What a privilege to belong to You, to be able to serve you here where you are not yet known or followed, but to know You are here!  Thank you that You see my heart and know the pain and can comfort me, I love You so.
